Therapy That Honors Your Story
Welcome to a collaborative, warm, and nonjudgmental space where your story matters. Specializing in trauma-informed care for individuals, couples, families, and youth—with particular focus on immigrant and refugee communities.
About Nadia Zamani, LMFT
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist based in San Diego, I bring a unique perspective to my practice through culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. My approach is deeply rooted in Narrative Therapy, which empowers you to reclaim and reshape your personal story.
With services available in both English and Farsi, I create a bridge for those seeking therapy in their native language or who wish to explore cultural aspects of their experience. My background allows me to understand the nuanced challenges faced by immigrant and refugee communities.
My Therapeutic Approach
Compassionate Care
Every session begins with genuine compassion and deep respect for your experiences. I create a safe environment where vulnerability becomes a strength and healing can flourish.
Cultural Awareness
Your cultural background is essential to understanding your unique story. I integrate cultural sensitivity into every aspect of therapy, honoring your heritage and values.
Narrative Focus
Through Narrative Therapy, we'll explore how your life stories have shaped your identity and work together to rewrite narratives that no longer serve your growth and wellbeing.
This integrated approach allows us to address complex challenges while honoring your whole self; cultural identity, personal history, and future aspirations all have a place in our work together.
